Dax Davis
Dax Davis is a rising country music artist from Slidell, TX. He has quickly made a name for himself in the Texas country music scene with his undeniable retro country sound. Dax's love for music was sparked at an early age, riding along with his father to weekend gigs around North Texas. He began singing alongside his mother in the car and learning guitar from his father, which soon led to him writing his own songs at the ripe age of nine. Starting with small acoustic shows around North Texas, Dax eventually formed a band with his closest friends for a school talent show. The chemistry was undeniable, and they soon began performing all across Texas, blending classic country covers with Dax's original music. Fast forward to present day, Dax has released four singles and has recently signed with Coffey Global and will be releasing more music soon. Keep your eye out for Dax Davis as he makes waves across Texas.
Small Town Boy
Dax Davis originates from a small town in North Texas where the community supports him tremendously. When Dax, and his bandmates started playing around North Texas the local support continued to show. Now, with more and more high profile shows popping up, the presence of small town support is higher than ever.
Musical Influence
Like most, some of Dax's biggest influences consist of the greats like George Strait, Alan Jackson, Clint Black, and Merle Haggard. But, the young country artists biggest influences are honkytonk artists like Chris Ledoux, Randall King, Mark Chesnutt, and Zach Top. Another aspect Dax admires greatly is songwriting, his biggest songwriting influences consist of Chris Ledoux, Brad Paisley, and Merle Haggard.
